I suppose primary school will eventually know.. but for my DC's school, not at this point of time. Just last week, one of the staff went around and asked if any of the children have received any selection outcomes. By Sept 11th, all will be out in the open. I mean they should have a record of successful CO/WLs by then, no?

Just curious, will the primary school know the student's DSA results? If yes, will they know earlier than the parents?

I personally don't reckon DSA schools will wait to look at prelim results before issuing selection outcomes. They should have taken into consideration child's talents as well as past years' results before inviting for trial/test/audition? Some schools already released CO/WL in early August, way before Prelim.

For schools that choose to do so in September - whether they have access to prelim results or peek at it before determining selection outcomes - nobody knows..

I understand the wait for outcomes can be agonizing. We have felt it too at some point.. and by we(I mean me.. my DC is oblivious.. didn't ask until I mentioned it) πŸ˜… I told my DC no matter the selection outcome, still have to sit for exams. A month to psle πŸ€“ Press on!

What if interview ended with - Study hard for PSLE! - can infer not selected or is it normal thing to say?πŸ˜…
I know it's tough but don't overthink it! 😜 Take it as a form of encouragement from the school. Ours ended with feedback on the trial and 'good luck for your PSLE' too.

Yes that happens. It also means your child might have a chance to be spotted.
Raw skills might mean that while the child has not received a lot of training, he/she shows the right aptitude for the sports, ie, high potential.
Hi πŸ™‚ thank you for sharing. Sounds positive! Keeping fingers and toes crossed πŸ˜†
