May I ask if any of the parents had feedback on the school bus operators?

Lastly, I do not think that there is anyone really blaming the P. The school is considered a whole organisation or family. If there is feedback on the school, I believe all the teachers, HOD, VP and P should work together. As mentioned before, P is head of school and she provides direction and decide what best suits the school after discussing with teachers or HODs or VP. That is why I believe they regular meetings to talk about the operations and problems facing in the school.


SPI I believe u are bias on comments made to the school and then talk about country problem. Here I am is only trying to raise my concern on school and education system with other parents. In a nutshell, we welcome innovation and creative teaching methods but the teacher should be imparting the correct knowledge. If the teacher happens to be unsure with the answer, I believe the students are open enough to accept for the teacher to come back with an answer. We are all learning throughout our life, isn’t it?

I think we are just commenting on the school education system. As I have mentioned before in Endeavour, there are good teachers and ‘room for improvement’ teachers. I believe is a matter of how the school is going encourage the good teaching and help the rest. P of the school is important as he/she sets the direction on how the school is going to run. I am not sure who are the older teachers and parents that SPI u are refering to that is hindering progress. As parent, we will provide feedback to the school in the hope can help the school. That I believe why the school has Parent Support Group. Unless the school view feedbacks as hindrance, then I will advise the school to stop looking into forums and ask for feedback from parents.

Is this what MOE meant by every school is a good school and every teacher is a good teacher? To have good and "room for improvement" teachers to mix together and hopefully, they will all be good?


Honestly speaking I do know there are some good teachers in school. As for the new intern teachers, i can understand if they may not have enough experience in handling students. But I cannot accept that they may not have enough knowledge to even teach the students in their school work. I hope the school have ways in assessing the teacher’s knowledge in certain subjects before assigning them to teach the class.

I have also heard about some parents is unhappy about the principal. Personally I do not have any confidence in her because she makes me feel that she does not know what to do base on the guidelines from MOE. For example, I heard that students are not treated properly if they fell down in school. My impression was if the student fell and cut himself, basic cleaning of wounds like washing and disinfecting the wound or give them plasters etc. But what I heard was that the student was asked to rinse the wound with water and that’s all. Reason being some children may have allergy to the type of medication applied or the person tending to the kids is not first aid train. I wonder disinfecting the wound is also too much to ask from the school. I really curious what is the purpose of the first aid box in school use for? Is that just a requirement for the school to have one for display only?

Also educating our young ones need both ways: the school and us.

so I always send my son on time for his silent reading.

Also, we are setting an example for him and teaching him responsibility and self discipline. Imagine all students are silent reading while late comers started coming in. That will mean to the child: Late is ok, Dilly Dally is ok

That’s good. Actually the school has a fruit stall too. So students can buy fruits from them after meal.

That’s right. Usually I will just pack some biscuits or bread because they are only given like 5 to 10mins break only. During briefing, they suggested fruits pack in sealable bag for late day.

I will not be able to go for the decoration as I have another appointment.

She told me the queue for certain store is quite long. So maybe will packed some food for her just in case she is lazy to queue. But I think they should be confident in buying food in no time
