My boy is SC and we staying less than 1km to MSHS, do you think balloting will be needed for our case?

Secondly, we just moved and did not make it for our address to be update by 31 may. So we will be using online form way for submission. Is there any priority given to using the MOE System (p1-is) compare to online form submission?

If really no luck and go into 2Cs .. any advices from you guys which school I still stand a chance? For all these schools I’ll be between 1-2km
1. Cedar Primary
2. Xinghua Primary
3. Yangzheng Primary
4. Zhonghua Primary

Yangzheng seems to be the more popular school here, any chance for that? All these schools standard should be about the same I guess?

Or if I go ahead for Yangzheng for 2C, any chance for 1-2km or do you guys think need to ballot also?

My first born will be entering primary one next year. I am looking to register for MSH under phase 2C within 1km. Will like to understand why parents here chose to send your child to an all boys’ school instead of a co-ed school?
Appreciate to hear your views on the school culture and academic workload. And lastly hows the overall behavior of boys in MSH? Hope to hear from parents here as I am getting so nervous over this new milestone of my child :x

Hello all, I’ll be registering for my boy next year and posting here to seek advice.


I’m (SC) staying within 1km from PoiChing and 1-2km from St Hilda’s and Gongshang. I’m going for phase 2C. However I understand from past records all these school will have to ballot even for within 1km. In such case, the safer bet will still be Poiching even there’s high possibility of balloting right? As I won’t stand a chance for st Hilda’s or gongshang as I’m not within 1km. Any other advices or ways if I have intention for the other 2 schools?
