how to made my first choice between Chung Cheng High School and Bukit Panjang Gov. High School ?


My has AL11 and Both school COP 11.
Travel distance ok.

Chung Cheng High School has affiliated NYJC.
what others importance consideration ? CCA ? uniform liking , student leadership participation, popularity , reputation, higher passing for O Level and etc…

Nan Hua High School enrollment criteria 6M to 11D.

Question, does that means that my Son is not qualify because he has AL11 + HCL (M).
unless if my son HCL (Distinction) he is qualify with the bare minimum entry?

How does each school formulate their (min. to COP) ?

I’m wondering they could have used the previous year actual student’s enrolled scores ?

Let’s take an example for a unpopular school 's express is 6-14 and a popular school’s express is 5-7.

If i would scored 6 and logically i should enroll for the popular school.
Now my thinking process is that, what’s made me think that i should enroll for the unpopular school with the same entry scores ? next is, why does the unpopular school has a expectation of setting low entry scores ?
