      SAHM_TAN:
The pirority for SC is activated when there's balloting.

For example in phase 2B. There are 20 vacancies.

In a situation whereby there are only 20 applicants. All will be accepted regardless of SC and PR, as long as they qualify for this phase.

In a case of demand more than supply. There are 21 applicants.

20 SC and 1 PR, all 20 SC will get in.

15 SC and 10 PR, 15 SC will get in regardless if their home distance to school. Now for the remaining 10PR, the distance will be considered. If all 10 are <1km, balloting will be conducted for this group. If it's 2 PR<1km, 1 PR 1-2 km and 3 PR > 2km, then balloting is only among the 3 PR.

In the case of 22 SC and 10 PR. Then the 10PR no chance to even ballot. The process will only for the 22 SC. The home distance from school will come into play for the 22 SC.
      Hi SAHM Tan,

Thanks for the explanation. It is really very helpful. Thanks once again!

hi, i am enrolling my kid for Pr 1 next yr and wondering if anybody know if dazhong primary/ princess elizabeth/st anthony is good?

I am enrolling my daughter for Pr1 next year and we are in 1km from Dazhong, Linhua and st Anthony. As we are not catholic I am more interested in Dazhong and Linhua, but have found very few info on those 2 schools on the forum. Has anyone some experience with those school to share?

      Hi Chou Chou,

I am considering SAP and Dazhong for DS. but SAP has no open house and not much info. And we are also not Catholic.

Anyone can share any insights for these 2 schools?

      Hi All,

My son is going P1 next year. We are staying in Bukit Batok and was planning for St Anthony Primary School, however, understand that SAP is going to move temporary to Jurong. That will increase my family expense in transportation.

So do you guys have any advice for me to consider?

      Under which phase?

      Hi Zakshi,

Likely to be in 2B but I do understand subject to PA's approval for grassroot leaders.

    • RE: If your kid goes to full day CC...

      Hi KT11,

Yes, I do sent my boy to enrichment classes when he started full day CC at age of 2. I started with Shichida on weekend last year.

Now he is 3 this year, I stopped Shichida coz he is bored with the teaching routine. I am trying out JELIC for him now.
