I'm new to this site. I'm a working mother with 2 girls, age, 16 & 11. I'm still below 40 though, pretty young mother, considering my girls are quite grown up....![]()

Yup..yup...my girl is taking her \"O\" level this year, but she's more of a bochap person, so it's quite worrying, just got to keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best. Tough to be a mum, esp a working mum.
Welcome mommy SnowBean! You sound like a pretty confident mommy - and a pretty experienced one too! It's the 'O' Levels this year for your 16yo isn't it?SnowBean:

RE: Shy to speak up
winterman05:
My 11 year old gal is shy too, her teacher in school had feedback to me that she seems so afraid to ask questions. I am thinking of sending her to a confidence building course or public speaking course for kids.hello!
my dd is K1 this year. I realised she is painfully shy when it comes to group activities even though she was exposed to church sunday school and group enrichment class.
She speaks very softly to the teacher but she definitely speaks out loud at home. She can be frightened to answer question though she may not be wrong.
Any suggestions that we can help her? Speech and drama class? Advice appreciated.
Cheers.
Do you know of any?
