yes, that's why I believe all parents in this era are trying to help our children as much as we can but we are also afraid to make them lose their independent character.....

RE: Handling a primary one
thanks, sometimes that is the fear of being a parent, we adults are able to stand up for each other but children may not have the courage as we also teach them to have respect for all especially to their elder...
teachers have a real great impact on them as they see the teachers handling a whole class of students.
we, parents only handle our children and that is always lesser than a class.
but i suppose we parents are on 24/7 LTC for them always....and we always need to assure them that we are there for them.
in fact, the time when i talked to the teacher, is the time when an important file (filled with exam notes) and exam round the corner and i thought to seek teacher's help and started to thank her first and later on, share her my thoughts thinking to provide some feedback for my child but at the end, got the comments indirectly from my child (not to tell me things cause i will complain to her).... :stupid:
being a parent of the modern era is indeed not easy!!! -
RE: Handling a primary one
yes, at first, i did worry that losing things with any reasons may be a sign of being bully, but after talking to my child, I reassure that goods friends should be understandable and not to forcing friends to agree with them.
My child got the message and understand that they should try to enlarge their circle of friends and not only following their old K2 friends....
i am happy this turns well later.....

Thanks, this thought did come to my mind at first, but was even of afraid that the teacher will bias against the kid but i am monitoring the situation and if things fall out, i guess i will call the teacher again
other than that, any other recommendations for me?

RE: Handling a primary one
Thanks for the good tips as below.
Guess not all kids are the same character, my older child was a little better to manage and thus this younger child pose a challenge to me..
also, how should i work with teachers on these, had spoken to teacher about losing stationery/file in school and at first afraid it may be some unusual thing as pre-school was alright.
teacher told my child not to tell me much as the teacher commented my feedback call to them is complain but i told teacher that i am trying to express my concern about their transition....?? :stupid: of me

RE: Handling a primary one
Hello,
He was at first stressed with friendship at the start but been able to overcome.
However, the stress in academic or the fear of teachers (especially this) worsen even though after half a year had gone....
