agree that 3rd lang is a long term commitment... i am just testing water to see if my child is keen in languages n foreign culture...

I doubt a kid could tell it out of a few days or months. To appreciate a culture thru the native language assumes mastery of the language.

You don't get a taste of French by attending the holiday course unless you send your boy to the summer camp in France whereby your child is oblige to speak French and mingle with the local.
