No it doesn’t work that way. After your first few “serious” choices, 5/6 should be safety nets. Pick one school that you don’t mind going into in case of anomaly. You can put Catholic high O-levels or Nanhua high, after your 4th choice RVHS.
Thank you Zeal mummy , I will put Nanhua high for the last choice .

Or you can have cop 10/11 at your next options after RV. That will be a stronger safety net, in case of anomaly.
DS wanted IP sch so I’m unsure what to choose for 5 and 6. Should I choose HCi, NJC, RV and Ri? Thanks

I think in your choice order, it is wasting your options #5/6. Does he prefer RV over dhs/acs? Or this,

1)HCI (COP 7M)
2)RI (COP 6)
3)NJC (COP 7)
4) ACS IP (COP 7)
5)DHS (COP 8D)
6)RV (COP 9)
Cause DHS is quite far for us and ACS is IB program so we put RV at 4.

Hi Soul,
Congratulations on the good results. Which school is his dream school? According to last year’s data, if it’s still accurate this year, he will be going to HCI. Your safety net is RV.

Hi Zeal mummy, his dream school is HCI. You think the choice order is ok?

Your choice order
1)HCI (COP 7M)
2)RI (COP 6)
3)NJC (COP 7)
4)RV (COP 9)
5)DHS (COP 8D)
6)ACS IP (COP 7)
Hi parents,

My DS got AL6(P) .

Our choice order
1)HCI (COP 7M)
2)RI (COP 6)
3)NJC (COP 7)
4)RV (COP 9)
5)DHS (COP 8D)
6)ACS IP (COP 7)

Will it be too risky for 1 and 2? Thanks .

Hi
So does this mean cut off for top schools now AL5 instead of 6? Someone said something like this in other thread...

I guess this is the million dollar question and we won’t know until posting results are out.
AL6 any chance for HCI?

My girl asking me abt this coz she says all her class mates different answer. And very different. For question (b)

The drawing question:
(a) draw a triangle with the same perimeter as parallelogram abcd
(b) find the ratio of parallelogram abcd to the triangle you drew.

My girl said the ratio of the area is 5:6

Thanks for sharing. Will tell her tomorrow. From what she shared earlier one of her classmates got 5:6, others 10:9, 5:8. She and one other got 1:1 but was so many varied answers. 😂
1:1 is the correct ans. My son and classmates all got 1:1
