    • RE: Gongshang Primary

Hi all, my son is currently at Gong Shang , 4th day in P1. Looking at the way the school communicating with parents, I am a bit worry and finds it lacking. For example, what are the books need to hand in to school. Information on it came on 5th Jan and expect kids to bring English, Maths and Chinese all by the next day on the 6th Jan. After carefully packing them and let him carry the heavy load to school, he came back with half of it saying teacher did not get from him afterall… What’s more, after chatting with other parents from another Primary school, the school has a systematic way of communication between teachers and parents. For example, one has develop a handphone APP and another has watsapp communication. Gong Shang still rely on hardcopy letter to inform parents? Another parent just attended Parents Briefing which talks about what the parents should expect in this year (term by term), when they have exams and banding. Although it sounds stressful but this can be helpful in a way to prepare parents what are coming rather than just sending the child to school and let him be ?

Anybody can share your thoughts ? Thanks
