      buds:
Been checking back their webbie to see if they updated the

results of their first batch of students taking PSLE... but see
nothing so far? Anyone can update?
      Hi Buds,

Here's what I can share, based on what's mentioned in a letter that was sent this week:

40 P6 students sat for the PSLE. Among them, 97.5% passed (national ave is 97.3%) and were assessed as suitable to proceed to sec. school. In terms of course eligibility, 67.5% are eligible for the Express course. (above national ave. of 63.5%).

It would have been better to change it to black shoes and white socks, not black for both.

Our girls' current school uses all black and really... its so cool! :boogie:

All schools should change socks and shoes black!

Is it? 😄 Oh, well, I guess I'm just biased to black and white because that's what I wore for school before. 😄

@buds: I’m sorry, I don’t know what tips to share, really, as my daughter has been there since P1. ‘hope your girls will be accepted there. The fee at Graceland is $280 per month. we have actually pulled out our daughter around August, I can’t quite recall all the details. I recall they follow a daily timetable on when to review Math, English, etc. They would have lunch, then tea break around 4:00 a.m. They would assist in the students’ homeworks, as well. Just to clarify, we only pulled out our daughter because we don’t need child care anymore, as my MIL is already staying with us.

@bbc: They have PE sessions twice a week. I don’t think they are allowed to wear PE attire during non PE days. But, I guess not to the point of not letting the childi into the school, if in case he/she is not wearing the proper attire for the day.

Oh, about the orientation. They don’t have this last 2008. Actually, we didn’t bring along my daughter during the Orientation. I recall a lot of parents also didn’t bring their kids during that day.

The school has this program called ALPs (Adventure Learning Programme) where the students' confidence, curiosity and being cooperative are developed. They also have a Zippy program. I think it's being championed by the Health Promotion Board. Innova is one of only 3 primary schools that has this.

Btw, the bus service is Leong Chin. I mixed up the name with their driver, Chris Yip 🙂

      hi working mom.

      thanks for your reply.
My kid will join Innova for P1 next year, so wld like to see if I shld pick him fr sch myself or let him take sch bus. Since sch bus journey is not that long, I will consider this option.

      hi kristy_ice77,
The orientation will be held on 20 Nov, 9am-noon.

Yeah, it's not that long. Chris Yip Bus Services is the one my daughter is taking. It's one of the 2 accredited bus companies of Innova. The dismissal time of the school is:

      M, T, W, F: 1:30 p.m.
      Th: 3:30 p.m.

      bbc:
      hi working mom,

Does your daughter take the sch bus from Innova to Graceland? if yes, what time does she reach Graceland? How much is the bus fare?
Hello! Yes, she does. She reaches Graceland after 15 to 20 minutes of the bus' departure from school. Graceland actually picks up kids from some schools, excluding Innova. I requested if one of the teachers can wait for my daughter at the bus stop at Ring Road where she would alight to go to Graceland, to pick her up. They agreed, so it has been our set up since the start of the school year. The bus fare is $42.00.
