I am not sure about the old one, the latest besta have the feature that easily retrieve \"chengyu\" or \"idom\".

        e.g.

Instead of typing \"Ma Ma Hu Hu\", just type mmhh, then the idom will come out.
We started with besta model first...then tutor told my boy about creative and the ease of use...also saves time during exams. Get it from school during road show. It's cheaper.

          Hi,

Just my 2-cents worth. Besta can only call for 字,creative e-dict can call词语。词语is better than 字.

totally agree...son started with besta...time consuming to extract the idiom...creative is faster.

Hi!! Recently the advert for Besta ("Besta New All Pass-1") says it has a faster way of finding words with Shou Ma (e.g. mlqm can call up 名列前茅), HYPY, total strokes, association and reverse association…

Does this mean it is on par or better than Creative now?

The Besta during roadshow is only $35 btw, whereas Creative is $42 during roadshow…

My son has a besta which is almost five years old. I am thinking of getting one more for back up and also pass the older one to my younger son. Should I get besta again or creative? Kid has been using besta, will mix up the functions if get creative?

Just read this thread… just bought one @ popular last weekend as dd said hers is not working. They only selling Besta @ $49.90, mentioned it’s the latest model. Seems the price has increased ya? Recalled my dd bot hers (Creative) thru school order then, only $30+…
