Reporting here for the first time. Anyone tried to volunteer for Ai Tong as traffic warden through SHHK? I applied but was unsuccessful. Asked them why and they said no particular reason.

What do you mean by Maris Stella dont hv PV program? Does it mean distance plays a major factor?

Just to add on, for Maris Stella, how to get into phase 2B? I could choose Chongfu (1-2km) or Maris Stella (<1km). Which school is better? What are their strenghth?


I had just checked, seems like for those live more than 1km are unable to get into Chongfu under Phase 2B.

Am a SC and wife is SPR, our child is neither but we plan to bring him here from Philippines to study from P1 onwards in 2016. He is born in Nov 2009. We are getting our BTO opposite Palm View Primary School that year too and was wondering what are your opinions on being able to get a spot there considering he is a foreigner? Are there other alternatives apart from international schools? Any help is much appreciated as I think we would need to plan in advance!

Finally found this thread, my #1 is born in 2009 but this year’s pri 1 registration is making me stressed out already.

A few qns to ask

I’m looking at pei hwa for my kids, i know church affiliation helps besides PV, is it glory Presbyterian church? also if become a church member? what is the min no. of years before qualifying for Phrase 2B for church member?

We are also staying within 1km but chances of balloting for pei hwa within 1km is high? Can I still apply under 2C if did not get in 2B?

Also want to ask, can i apply for more than one school in 2C or 2C supp?

Also want to ask, can i apply for more than one school in 2C or 2C supp?Definately no. Only 1 sch at a phase, unless u register at sch A on 1st day and withdraw from sch A on 2nd day and re-register at Sch B on 2nd day.

Is it still worth it to PV at Ai Tong, via SHHK or direct? Phase 2B only had 8 seats so I am sure many SHHK members and direct PVs were disappointed.

Ai Tong holds a ballot for traffic wardens and they only want 10.

PV give us the eligibility to register under 2B, 1 lesser contested phase than 2C.


Given the odds and PV hours, whether it is worth or not for this extra relatively better odd chance would depend on individual.
