5th day of CNY…I have to bring son to National Skin Centre to see a specialist…he has been losing sleep over the itch. I seemed to have forgotten CNY is 15 days esp now that it’s back to school FOR REAL. Homework is coming in.

HaHaHa. Looks like I'm not the only mother looking forward to holidays now. Even b4 CNY weekend, I'm already checking calendar for next holiday...but that's after 'suffering' CA1 in March.

I actually dread the upcoming school break leh. Public holidays yah, we look forward to them cos everyone is supposed to be off but school holidays is a different story.

Well, not really dread lah but school breaks are usually more stressful for me cos I gotta find stuff to keep DD occupied. OK if me and DH can be on leave to bring her out but she gets totally restless on days when we cannot be on leave to bring her out.

Agree. Kid at home without parents around watched too much TV.

I usually take a few days leave during short school holiday Mar/Sep and a week or more during Jun/Nov-Dec holiday. Sometimes do nothing just stay at home. But doing nothing and just relaxing at home is actually doing a lot more bonding with my child.
