It is indeed good news to share!

Well done, Isabelle Looi! Class 2022, the 5th graduation batch. Congratulation to make EJC proud.

          Baby Eunoia Junior College,

Although your history of establishment was short, but
you are amazing & AWESOME !

          :congrats:
Class 2022, the 5th graduation batch of baby Eunioa,
Isabelle Looi clinched the prestigious PSC (Legal Service) scholarship. There is a sharing on how apart from achieving good academic results, Isabelle was also active in her CCA and other community work.
She was the President of EJC debate team and a volunteer at Meet The People session. Congratulations.

Last year, P mentioned that EJC produced 9 PSC scholars for Class 2020 (3rd graduation batch). 1 of whom did not get perfect UAS. P assured parents/students that there is no need to get perfect score, just do your best. Not sure in class 2021 and 2022 batches, how many PSC scholars though.

The school's website mentions that 'Achieved >= 6 Distinctions' is 2 in 10....
So... >= 6 Distinction = 90 RP? If so.. funny why that school dun quote '90RP' which is understood by most as perfect score.

I don’t think 6 distinctions necessarily equate perfect 90 RP. See RI’s results — 444 out of 1126 students (or 39.4%) attained at least 6 distinctions, but only 1 in 4 obtained 90 RP.

To achieve \"at least 6 Distinctions\" is more difficult than 90 RP.
90 RP is computed from exactly 6 distinctions (distinctions in GP, Project work, and either 4H2 subjects or 3H2+1H1).
On the other hand, students with more than 6 distinctions achieved the additional distinctions in the more difficult/advanced H3 Papers (in my time many years ago, they were called S-Papers). As far as I know, H3 subjects do not count towards rank point calculation, but some students take it for interest, or to improve chances for scholarship or admission to (certain) overseas universities.

I think the critical thing here is whether MT is considered a distinction. If you achieve Mother Tongue A, and 5 other As (GP, PW and 3H2 As), you may not get 90 RP as your 4th content subject did not get A. So you can get 6 distinctions, and yet not get 90 RP, if MT is counted as a subject.

I have no idea whether schools consider MT a subject.
