When usually the DSA key dates updated? Checked the MOE website, still last year dates.

Just sharing our personal experience as well as those from friends whose kids did PSLE in the stressful year 2021.

If your child aims to get into the really popular schools like RI, HCI, NUSH, RGS, MGS, NYGH, SNGS … and your child is good at both Math and Science (participated and won medals for Olympiad etc), our advice is forget about Math, it’s overly competitive and many have the same certs and medals your child might have.

FOCUS and GO ALL OUT FOR SCIENCE DSA!

Even for RI, Science is a really much, much less competitive DSA Domain to get in than Math. Go for Science Competitions and Olympiads and if your child can attain good achievements in the domain, the chances to get into popular schools like RI will be much higher than Maths. Quite a number of our frienda learnt about this fact and prepared their children well in Science, and guess what, the kids are in RI now.

If you expect disappointment, then you can never really get disappointed.

Some kids don't mind the disappointment of not receiving any offer....until they find out others received their COs, especially when the others didn't have a better track record in school.

Parents have to manage DSA carefully. These days, kids are a lot more fragile.

Hi, there is already an existing DSA 2022 thread with exactly the same name. No need to create a new one.

Having checked with parent chatgroups, only one enrichment centre name came up for Singapore Primary Science Olympiad (SPSO) training :
