Selection is really unexplainable. This not only happens to dsa to secondary. It happens to shortlisting of PSC scholarship too. My child's classmate is a Student Council President with GPA4 for all subjects in a TOP school at Bishan. Unfortunately she's not selected.

GPA4.0 applies only to Year 1 to 4 for RI and RGS.

For JC (Year 5 to 6), it is Grade A, B, ... for each subject.

Was she rejected after the PSC interview? Or was she not selected for the interview?
Note: majority of those who went for interview would not get the PSC scholarship.

Hi, for those who were shortlisted for SCGS (leadership), could you share your DD's profile? My DD's from a neighbourhood school. Her overall AL in P5 and P6 are 4-6 and is a head prefect. She won the edusave scholarship and eagles awards but was not shortlisted. Need closure. Thanks!

Impressive!

Check with SCGS to confirm that she is indeed not shortlisted (earlier parents have shared that they did not get email/notification from other schools despite short-listed).

Hope your DD is short-listed for her other 2 choices. All the best to her PSLE too! :rahrah:

Hi, yes, my son received on 20 Jul for 6 Aug.
