You submit your school choices in order of preference.

E.g., your first choice is the WL school and second choice is CO.

If WL is converted to CO (you will receive the outcome on PSLE results day), then you will go to first choice school. If WL is not converted, then you will go to second choice school.

Hi, I’m considering River Valley High DSA - Coding for my boy. I’ve a friend whose son has completed many coding modules and taken part in national robotics competition but he didn’t even get through the application round for River Valley. Wondering if any parents here managed to get your child in via DSA coding for RVH?

For those with DSA CO, do you have the school textbook list already and were able to purchase in advanced?
I can find some of the textbooks in Popular, but not the school-logo exercise books. I called the school and they said they will only release the textbook list on S1 posting day

Was hoping to have a peaceful year-end travel. I guess I'll just let DS be without any exercise book for first week.

Yes the school emailed the textbook list on PSLE results day. Can order online but some textbooks out of stocks, so I’m waiting abit more.

Just ask your DS to bring extra cash to school. He can buy the exercise books during recess or after school.

Some schools would give the booklist first and some would wait till posting results are out. These decision are made by the school management and their bookshop collectively.

Would suggest to explain your situation to the office and see if there can be an exception. Otherwise, DS can buy when he starts school. It’s actually less load to carry to school that way.

Yikes, I called the school again today (I hope they don't keep callerID!).

This time the person who answered said that students may need to report to school the next day, though she added she is not completely sure and to just wait for the details to be published.
Anyone heard anything? What are the odds that most schools are reverting everything back to in-person reporting? I hope they will at least keep the online reporting option available :scared:
