      Types of trusts

      Source: Money Sense https://www.moneysense.gov.sg/articles/2018/10/estate-planning-what-is-a-trust

Setting up a trust during your lifetime

A living trust is set up during a settlor's lifetime, where the assets are transferred to the trust. Examples are inter vivos, discretionary or revocable trusts. It is done by executing a trust deed together with the transfer of assets to the trustee.

The settlor can revoke or terminate the trust at any time.

      Testamentary trust

A testamentary trust is made using a Will and takes effect after the settlor's death. This is useful where you have:

      Young children
      Dependants with special needs
Beneficiaries who may inherit a large sum of money but are unable to manage it

Once this trust is in place, it is irrevocable.

        A new condo launching soon.

Liv @ MB is located at Arthur Road, just off Mountbatten Road. It will be just 3 minutes' walk to the upcoming Katong Park MRT station on the Thomson-East Coast line.

Have you gone to see the showflat? They're gonna start e-balloting tomorrow! Preview sales at 21st May (Sat). The location looks good (known for seaside lifestyle) but the psf prices will sure start above $2k psf, as with the new launches these days

Even for OCR projects, $2,xxx psf will soon be the norm.

In fact, Lentor Modern, which will be linked directly to the Lentor MRT station and expected to be launched in H2 this year, can see prices hitting $2.2xx psf or more. This is due to the high land prices, rise in construction cost, global inflationary pressures, etc......

So, given the more exclusive and better location for Liv @ MB, $2,xxx psf can be considered attractive in the current market.

          Here's a review.

u ever read papers about not many viewers at a newly launched ppty? Most if not all articles would be buyers queueing to enter to view. With GST hike, maybe more rush to buy ...?
Confirm not me bec I money not enough

                        i hv limited financial knowledge.
If your pocket is deep enough, buying ppty seems a gd choice bec look at the rent or resale values going up and up and up.
