I haven’t heard anything from VS too, for another sports domain. I assume it’s the start of the long weekend so maybe no news means not yet out.. or maybe no news might mean no.. 😕

Apparently my son's friend received a call that he was not selected about the same time as those who got a verbal offer for t&f. But I have not heard from them at all.. maybe it just the long weekend or maybe its a no.

Anxiously waiting for some update from VS. same here … no news - we had applied for another Sports domain. let’s hope to hear something from them at the soonest.

Oh, my daughter told me her friend got CO, I think is Netball. We did not apply for SNGS.

Just wonder for dual track schools, what criteria or requirements are considered to give out SEC or IP slots DSA Sports CO/WL? Do all students for certain domain get into IP? Or there’re a mix of IP or SEC students? Just curious.

There is a mix. Some are offered IP, some are offered SEC. The student might have indicated a preference of one track over another (eg SEC over IP) or no preference, in which case it would be very much dependent on the student's academic results. The school would need to ensure a student can cope with the demands of training and academics.

:thankyou: for your insights! As some schools told us that the quotas would have priority over other ‘non-essential’ ones especially IP ones. Hence, sometimes students will either given a SEC slot or WL.
