@zac-s-mum Hi, my friend’s child went for badminton trial at snxx. This child went with her friend (who attend badminton training weekly with a coach, and she mentioned her coach is a friend of snxx coach) According to my friend’s child, it really seems that the coach already know who to choose. During the trial, the coach only ask few students to play full point match. really sus!
In the end, my friend’s child didnt get in, but her friend got in for 2nd interview. -
if everyone just sus but don’t have concrete evidence, the authority is not going to investigate. More people will just exploit the loophole, if they can afford.

Seeking advices on DSA via Science. As there isn’t much Science competitions via school except during P5, may I know other than getting good grades in academic, what should I prepare my son with?

@revils_ling Is the additional interview done in the past years of DSA? I don’t recall reading about additional one in DSA 2023. I was hoping the result can be released early like last year. In this case I guess we really have to wait till 8 Aug before we know.

@melting_starz i’m not sure about prior to 2023. There were also 2 days of scheduled interviews in 2023 based on what I’ve read in the DSA 2023 thread on KSP. It was shared that the 2nd session last year was on 25 July, as compared to 31 July for this year. And emails were sent out on the same afternoon (for unsuccessful) and evening (for COs) on 2 August 2023. So unless NUSH teachers are very certain about their assessment from yesterday’s interview, I doubt they will start sending out the emails tomorrow (2 Aug). A more comfortable timeline would be next Monday (5 Aug). Nonetheless, this is just my guess. They might still be super efficient and surprise/shock us tomorrow

For leadership, that day they were told that parents will receive notification by end of next week for interview.
