@Yanzhang2 yes, the unfortunate reality of being a dragon baby in Sg, especially since the competition also includes kids from international schools in and outside Sg.

@Zoemum yours is session 1? session 2 she told me there was about 16 girls for her session. I went thru DSA 2022/2023 thread… last 2 years result was released on 31 August. All the best to our girls…

-
@yffets-0 her session was 2.15pm so I’m not sure which session it was.

Done with SST dsa today. The drink stall is open with drinks and snacks available. Got myself a coffee while waiting at the canteen. All the best for kids going on 17 Aug. DS told me the session was fun and he enjoyed it.

@yffets-0 hope that your daughter had a good experience! Wonder how many girls were shortlisted for STEM in total. Seems like 17 girls for one of the sessions
Based on past trends to make a wild guess, SST takes in 250 students and about 1 in 4 are girls so might be around 60-65 girls who’ll get selected

My daughter is P5 this year, interested in going to SOTA for Theatre. If your child tried for SOTA (Theatre) this year, can you let me know how it went and if there’s any tips for getting ready for it?
Thank you!
