In your example, you are saying if a student (with DSA CO) with PSLE score of 23, he will be posted to Fuhua G2. I thought with a DSA CO, he would be eligible for G3?Otherwise, what is the benefit of a DSA CO?
Cuz the student can still go to Fuhua G2 with a score of 23 without a DSA CO, correct? -
@RB55 Hi, PSLE score will determine posting groups irrespective of any DSA outcome.
AL 22 and below is posting Group 3 and can go to any DSA CO schools, whatever their cut-off point is. That is the benefit.
AL 23 or more, DSA CO to G3 only school is void. Will have to go through S1 exercise or if there is DSA CO from schools that also offer G2 and G1.
For DSA CO Fuhua, the cut-off for the DSA student is AL score 30 and below (that is the benefit), the PSLE score will then determine the posting group for the student.

Thanks!So to sum up, the key benefit of DSA is that a student can leverage on the generic cut-off of 22 to get into G3 even though the specific school’s cut-off for G3 is 15?

@RB55 Oh and Fuhua G2 cut-off is 23, which means will subject to ballot in S1 posting exercise. If Fuhua DSA CO student gets AL25, student can be posted to G2 Fuhua.

VS track: I doubt they issue CO confirmation yet, cos 7 Aug , they send out email saying result out end Aug or early Sep.Why not we keep the info for official email , rather than Verbal?

Aug 24 will pass very quickly. Next week is PSLE Oral week cum DSA interview for some of the schools. It is unlikely for schools to send out any results, especially bad news.
Following week will be prelim week. Again, MOE most likely would have reminded all schools refrain from sending out any results as well. If any, it will invite tons of feedback.
After the prelim week, that’s when all the schools will send out the official outcome. That’s also the official window for the official release of results, stated in MOE website.
Thus, as for now, schools are using this period to wrap up their selection and prepare the official email, and blast out on 26 Aug AM.
