      MrsKiasu:
slmkhoo you have more assignments now :rahrah: ..and all worked from home? should be better right as no need to waste time on travelling.

Actually, only 2 projects ongoing, but one is a big and long one involving 12 books, and I'll be working on it till Jan. All done freelance from home. The bulk of the initial work for the big project should be mostly done by end-Sep, with smaller peaks in Nov and Jan. The rest is mostly checking proofs. The smaller project is simple and should be done by mid-Sep. I'm also going on vacation for a few days end-Oct and mid-Dec, so got to make sure I have enough time before/after to meet deadlines.

        Slmkhoo

More assignments = more $$ into your piggy bank !

If my job allows me to work from home, I think I will like it more

Not very good pay though. I worked fewer hours and earned more when I worked part-time. And there will be gaps when I don't earn anything. I tell myself that I do it to have more flexible timing and because I enjoy it. I can't support the family on what I earn!

Having some income is always better than none. Especially when you have time to spare. May not be able to support but can definitely supplement.

As kiddos are growing, they need lesser and lesser of my involvement. I find that I am having more spare time. I already have a job that takes up most of my days but I still find myself too free at times. :siao:
