Yes. Can say that, he only paid half of what he pumped and drove off.

Maybe like the earlier case where a pump attendant had to fork out from his own pocket after a BMW asked for $10 but was given a full tank of petrol.

I am not sure if for this case the cashier has to fork out from her pocket but the two cashiers on duty were very panicky. They phoned their supervisor Immediately and was instructed to make police report.

Actually, I told the cashier the same thing. Maybe got the pump numbers mixed up?

If yes, it could be the cashier’s fault (haha). But cashier told me how could the guy ask for $100 or full tank but only paid $50 then diam diam. 😂

Yes, I paid $50 via a offline transaction. On 2nd thoughts, maybe I should just drive off since an idiot paid for my petrol. 😂

      lee_yl,

You don't want the capture shots to appear in ST, I'm sure. Don't even let that cross your mind.

At least u did the right thing intuitively & reduce the burdens of the staff. You alr said they panicked so imagine if u drive off too! They won't call their sup they'll just dial 999 for sure coz then it looks like 2 drivers in cahoots to confuse them. 😉

In Spore, no one can escape. It's like George Owell brother's watching u everywhere.

How else we can survive in safety without police on the streets? Some fr neighboring countries think no one watching came in boat-loads to find gold on streets & money spilling out of machines some years back? Rotan very effective coupled with CCTVs.

I was browsing in the store for quite some time. First 5mins, the cashier did ask me if I pumped $100 at pump no.4 and that my car had been driven away by someone! I was shocked, turned around but saw my car still there leh. The car key also with me, I didn’t know what she meant by that but I smiled back at her politely.

I continued browsing for another 5mins. Even made myself a hot cuppa at the snack counter. When it was my turn to make payment, the 2 counter staff turned panicky when I told them the car facing road (pump no. 3) was mine.

Either the cashier blur or the idiot driver did it on purpose, nobody knows for sure. But the cashier was right to state that if one has the habit of pumping $100 of petrol regularly, something must be wrong when he was asked to pay only $50 mah. How can he diam diam.
                😂

I remember not too long ago, there was a patient who drove off the doctor’s car…I think it was in the carpark of mount Elizabeth hospital.

there are cameras everywhere…they will capture important evidence. as long as we do no wrong, the cameras are to our advantage.

Huh? How did the patient got hold of doc's car keys? Impersonate as valet, took the keys; or pick-pocket doc for car keys. You've pique my imagination.

Malaysia a lot of such cases.
I think they can steal a car within seconds.

OT: My dad don’t dare to drive in to Malaysia anymore after a hit and run incident at JB’s Hello Kitty Land
