Visit CS in the Rail Mall if u happen to be in the vicinity. Look out for a plump lady with glasses. She doesn’t deserve any to pay her a special visit 🙂

It is not my first unpleasant uncounted with her. I will not write in to feedback as she may need the job more than me.

SL, you've a heart of gem & I salute you for that. :salute: You empathize very well.

S'times it's when ppl hv a hard life & gotta etch a living, with problems waiting at home & probably her health is giving her physical, financial & mental stress. Ppl who had made it out of poverty will not ustand the difficulties of holding on to a blue collar job or other low paying jobs, or where they are accepted.

I only wish she has kind supervisors & colleagues to give her good days & help her smile more to serve her customer better.

she cannot take A levels. I would be more than relieved if she can go to the poly and complete the diploma.

damn pissed with him over the weekend. I told him, 'hello, that's your daughter and her exams are coming up. can you do something other than saying exams are coming up?'

Don't conclude now as it is still early to decide but continue to encourage her.
It is common for dads not to display any concern on kids' exam. Instead of finding the reasons, I have accepted it as a fact.

From a dad pov, I think most dads expect their kids to grow up/mature earlier than moms' expectation.
In any case, it's more important to guide them than to teach them when they are already into their teen. Whatever they need to learn should be found in their books and so they should learn to use their books to find the answers. These days it's even easier with internet where you can search for your solutions and there are also plenty to learn from youtube.

I rmbr u used to get yr son to coach her. If it's more effective & yr younger girl listens to 哥哥'S coaching & advices more, get him to pep talk her & work with her. Then u cook his favourite food? Maybe can 'inspire' yr hubby into action w/o u opening yr mouth much.

son is still coaching her. hubby can't coach biology topics...so son explains to her. son's poly holidays are like godsend...because it's around the time daughter has exams.
son is no nonsense and will not tolerate any nonsense from her, so she is scared of gor gor.

Bio mostly to read and memorize. There's very little calculations and logic, unlike maths and the other 2 sciences.
Then again, exams in SG is about answering in the correct way/technique, so unless you are a up-to-date cher, it's not easy to coach

Maybe he' decided to put in extra years of training to make sure he reaches that 'goal'! 😂

Dad and Mum love their child but they express it differently.

Dh is still of the old mind set that as long as he brings food on the table and his family is not deprived of anything, he considered his role and responsibility done.

He is willing to drive from E to W just to pick dd up to return home when lazy dd can just take public transport home.
the cs outlets i went is not willing to cut the bbq chicken for me into 4 pcs :scratchhead:

I hv yet to buy CS bbq chicken, so I do not know whether CS provides or rejects the customer request to cut the whole chicken into parts.

Next time I go to a CS n ask, just to satisfy my curiosity 😉

I do buy CS BBQ chickens occasionally, and just bought 2 on Friday. I never thought to ask them to cut them up for me. I do it myself as it's quite easy - the bones are soft.
Same here. Really don't like the idea of them cutting it up with their knives and chopping board. Yes, small chicken very easy to cut...aim at the joints. or use a sharp pair of scissors as suggested earlier

actually it's not that one...it's a Filipino, small built and sulky.
oh I remember why I was so pissed. the other cashier was busy but the filipino cashier told her to check the price for her, claiming she doesn't know where the item was placed. this was ridiculous!

I love the smoked duck from CS...$14.99 when there is a promo. very worth buy.
