Forgot where I parked my car πŸ˜“

My most recent 'got lost' incident was at Ang Mo Kio hub carpark. Cannot find my car :frustrated:

I won't even attempt to park at Suntec. I get lost each and every time.

I can only handle small car park with maximum two lift lobby

The one I was lost at had too many entrances and levels and to make things more complicated, there were too many alphabet labeling :gloomy: and worse I'm not so sure how it connected with the mall.. Had to walk in the cold finding my car.. Took me a good 30 mins before I found my car 😒

Almost wanted to call SOS already..

I realised if I were the driver, I tend to remember where I park my car.

Yes, I will force myself to remember if I'm driving, or even write down the level etc, but if I'm being driven - no way I can help find the car! I always tell my husband that if he wants me to remember, he must warn me first. Don't ask me as only when we are looking for the car!

We always make a point (ie the whole family) to remember where the car is parked even to the extent of remembering the level, zone n car park lot no.

Ladies, have u guys ever travelled overseas alone?

Well, I've lived overseas in many places, and moved around alone quite a bit in new places. Does that count? Travelling out of Singapore alone - only once that I can remember, but that was to several places in Japan, US and Canada - one very long trip. I am OK if I intentionally prepare myself with maps and directions. It's only when I haven't prepared that I find it hard to remember.

I don’t like to travel alone even for business trips.

Is it safe to travel alone to Europe?

I felt safe back then. But that was super long ago, when I was still single. Not sure about now.

I heard from my brother that Paris is not that safe nowadays due to street gang. Originally intend to revisit Paris, tour free and easy with dd1. I'm a museum person, love love love paintings! So taking a package tour won't suit my interest
My brother strongly discouraged the two of us from travelling on our own

As for most places, it depends. Tourist areas in cities in daylight are probably fairly safe. Nights are always more dangerous. The parts of the cities matter. Some countries are safer than others. Looking \"blur\" is a sure magnet for pickpockets, as is displaying expensive gadgets and dressing too nicely.

Neither do I. One of the main inconveniences is not having someone to watch your stuff when you go to the loo or buy food. But alone is still better than with young kids and no other adult! I managed to avoid that until my kids were in Pr school and were more independent. I've never holidayed alone.

I guess it is the feeling of being 'single' again which I enjoy..
