I dun like to travel alone for work but leisure I like :rahrah:
I guess it is the feeling of being 'single' again which I enjoy..

        TheAnswer:

Ladies, have u guys ever travelled overseas alone?

Well, I've lived overseas in many places, and moved around alone quite a bit in new places. Does that count? Travelling out of Singapore alone - only once that I can remember, but that was to several places in Japan, US and Canada - one very long trip. I am OK if I intentionally prepare myself with maps and directions. It's only when I haven't prepared that I find it hard to remember.

Your experience is extensive compared to most of us here.. Which part of Japan u travelled to alone?

It was in the early '90s, so it was a long time ago. I didn't bother to try shopping and sightseeing as I was alone and didn't have much time anyway. Just went on the visits and returned to the hotel area.

Business trip lagi better to travel alone. Don't need to make small talk
I usually order room service when on biz trip alone

If travelling with colleagues, the expectation is to meet for dinner. Sian

When we go to suntec and raffles city, definitely have to remember which floor and pillar we park at...and particular 'landmark' for eg at bugis junction, there is a manicure/pedicure shop when we go up the escalator. I am blur even in singapore...how to go overseas myself :nailbite:

I look forward to 2 hours of ME time tomorrow when kids have tuition. Not a long time but enough to look around.

I am the opposite - I prefer to travel alone even for business trip if I can. Own time own target and no need to wait for each other for dinner or compromise on places to look look see see after dinner etc, so shiok!
