sure can't use the old coins mah? I still see the 10cts coin in circulation. at least I had it in back to my wallet and used it quite recently.
They are still usable although probably being withdrawn gradually from circulation.

The wet market in my neighbourhood states no 5 cts coins.
But our money is legal tender.
Anyway, I will update here if I can exchange my old coins at a local bank for info.
Thanks. -

Some stall holders and small shops don't like the 5ct coins, which is understandable. Many customers won't accept them as change. I also feel bad if I use too many coins in busy shops as it holds up the cashier. I usually try to use them up slowly - 2-4 5ct coins, or no more than 5 10ct or 20ct coins at a time. Or find a less busy shop where the sales staff are friendlier! The wet market in my neighbourhood states no 5 cts coins.

I think the bank charges a fee for coins deposit, not sure about coins for exchange service. I remembered feeling rather annoyed that a fee was imposed. Told the teller that aren't they supposed to encourage us to save. Apparently, waiver of coins deposit is waived if it's deposited into kid's account and they must be below a certain age. Can't recall the age limit though. The wet market in my neighbourhood states no 5 cts coins.

This isnโt the right place to ask, but I know lots of parents here will be able to answer this question:
When will primary school exams (up to P5) finish this year? Will they be over by 21 or 28 Oct? Trying to plan something, but need to know when people will be free! Thanks! -

I know that, but trying to get a general idea. The friends I intend to invite have kids in different schools, and I don't want to have to check with each of them individually!
