Sooo fun. Have a fantabulous time, slmkhoo. You'd get some withdrawals at first, knowing that you wd be away fr your girls. By day 3, ahhh... freedom. Haha
.... I still have a some stuff to complete for my volunteer work which I need to get done soon as my husband and I go on vacation next week. I also need to get out my warmer clothing and get the house stocked up for the kids.
.
Happy hols and safe travels -

I took a brief look at freelance projects to fill up my excess time and the rates do seem poor! I decided to put my energy elsewhere for now. I do enjoy doing \"homely\" stuff in between busy periods and you are totally right to book ahead of peak periods! The good (and popular) places go fast and sometimes you get a discount for early booking.I'm in a slacking mode now. Just got a project done which has been taking up a lot of time and energy for the past couple of months - and poorly paid too! We also started planning our Dec vacation a couple of days ago, and as always, I get to do the research and the main \"busy\" work - tickets, itinerary, accommodation etc. My husband gives opinions, the family pow-wows a bit, then I do the work and submit what I have found out for \"approval\"! Seems silly to be planning this before we've even left for the May-Jun vacation, but we found that a lot of accommodation has been booked up already (in NZ). No choice but to travel during the peak period as we have to wait for NTU vacation and after the A levels.
Have a great vacation next week! -

One of my colleagues (age 40-45) just resigned and I was surprised by his courage
I donβt have much employable skills except to remain in my current job
Am still planning to work till age 55 then perhaps go part time is work a few days per week so that I can have the remaining days as ME time
