i prefer use normal ribs for broth , prefer this rib taste compared to bone broth , n the oil fr bone ... i scared.

bone broth is more economy for making soup , the hawkers use this for their soup base.

there's goodness from big bones..the other day i was at ntuc..a pretty mama kept picking up packets of big bones say her son is coming back home (think from NS ba)..she use it together with other meaty bones to cook soup.

Tats old wives n granny tale abt big bone. So oily n got a heavy pork taste compared to prime ribs ( clearer milky soup results ) but we buy at times for CNY STEAM boat broth to mix with prime ribs n soft bones , make cost cheaper for multi rounds of steam boat

i plan daughter's revision from scratch...ie all the topics which have been taught since january. revision is based on daily basis, but it is definitely more relaxing than psle. all i want is keep her brain working.
for eg monday morning revise science chap on cells and then attempt questions for MCQ/Short answer. tuesday morning revise history and then attempt short answer questions after that. wednesday morning math etc etc. after marking, i will ask son to go through with her if there are any mistakes for history. everything related to science, math and geography will be with hubby.

if there is any school homework, then she would have to finish that first. free time is for reading.

my DD1 has not been revising since day 1…I think she has always been like that…always like to 临时抱佛脚。Is this typical of the new social media generation? Even PTM speech also type on HP and read out. Homework also use HP to do draft work.

Recently she managed to locate all her Chemistry notes which has been misplaced since the start of the year…wonder how she passed all the common tests…

Am not planning anything for her…cos plans are always not followed. I am saving my energy for my younger ones…

my daughter has been enjoying herself for the past 2 weeks since her mid year exams were over, so she has no excuse to complain when she sees the work i’ve planned for her starting next week. the work i assigned is so relaxed. she is supposed to have english tuition today, but i postponed it since it’s the last day of school, so we will probably go out. son has his first poly exams next week…so we will be at home.

i’ve locked in english tuition for all the morning mornings in june…so nights she would have to finish the tuition homework.

Same with DD. Told her off one evening when she was staring and typing so intensely on her phone. She told me she was doing her homework and showed me what she was typing. I :faint: . She was doing her Lit homework on her phone. Asked her why doesn't she just use the laptop and she said troublesome. 🤷
