Well, she just told me that I will may have a few more princesses to deal with in the family in future.I can roughly guess what gender the baby/babies are.
your wife didn't tell you the gender?FishFingers:
Thanks,Janet...
I will know the results of the ultrasound scan when I get home in a few days.
I am just worried about the peak period that is looming for my wife after the August period. And also for DDs too who are going to take their end year exams.
i can imagine your excitement when you reach home, see your wife, 2 princesses and a growing foetus.
no matter how stressful things can be, it will be over. this is what i am telling myself when hubby gets better...honestly, my nerves are really frayed because he is not an obedient patient.
My wife had to hide my goalkeeper gloves and boots last year in a bid to get my broken nose to recover. She was worried that I might get kicked in the vital areas like the head.I still had not seen my boots and gloves since Dec last year.
Looking back,it may seem hard to miss out on the action but I am still in one piece thanks to my wife. She always reminded me what will happen to her,DD1,DD2 and the rest of the potential crew if something serious happens to me. -
FishFingers:
a few more? meaning another set of twin girls or triplets? so you will be the only MAN at home.

it's wonderful you understand your wife's intention to hid your soccer stuff. i have to remind my patient here the family needs him and his eyes are extremely crucial. -

Getting a bit older and married with a few young/older women at home, sometimes I have to remind myself I am not single anymore, got to think of the rest of the crew at home.

I could be the only man at home.My MIL gave birth to twins too(SIL and my wife).
I could be in trouble if all 3/4/5 women gang up on me on future haha.
As for your DH,try and talk and persuade him often.I am sure he will understand your kind intentions someday.
My peers and I are reaching the age where our health can suddenly take a turn for the worse.I had already witnessed 3 friends dying suddenly at my age.One died suddenly while showering in the morning, another passed away after a jog and the last one passed away in his sleep.Their passing made me realise the fragility of my mortality.
I had long made some lifestyle changes like drinking tea or coffee without sugar, change of dietary habits and swimming 3 times a week. -
FishFingers:
for the coffee every morning, hubby has cut down sugar. no condensed or evaporated milk as i am lactose intolerant. his knee is starting to give him problems.

so twins run in your wife's family. i can't imagine 5 women (wife, 11 year old twin girls and probably another set of twins) breathing down your neck. better be careful not to antagonize anyone
your MIL would have experience looking after twins, so you really have to appreciate her. better still if your FIL comes over, then you can go for training overseas with a peace of mind.

I think drinking of tea and exercise is quite important.Enough rest is essential as well too.

went to SNEC with hubby for 2nd post op review. doctor said operated eye will need 4 weeks to be able to see anything clear…now anything in front of the operated eye is just a shadow.

4 weeks of waiting must be frustrating for your hubby.
You take care too. -

this is good news that your big boy’s eye is recovering though slowly -
starlight1968sg:
during the consultation yesterday, i was more keen to know how this big baby's eye is recovering. doctor said he put in a big gas bubble inside as there were more holes inside :nailbite: ...as such, the recovery process will take longer. with a bigger gas bubble, it will take a longer time to disappear. that explains why his operated eye can't see beyond shadows.Janet

More holes meaning points of detachment? What is the estimated recovery time for your DH? Wishing him a smooth and swift recovery!
