Ya... but I'm enjoying myself in this forum though...Happy Mama:
  But of course!
Seems like you caught a lot of 'bad germs' from us here - LLLS, addiction, :pokeeye: at others, buying this and that gadget etc

Don't you agree to that too?

Happy Mama:
Huh? Who's depressed? I thought this forum is supposed to bring more joy than depression? :rotflmao:
Precisely and that's why we qms and I said that we would all go into depression if Chief were to shut down this site.
Happy Mama:
Beg to differ. I for one am not affected by those threads. But I do agree sometimes when you read school threads, you can get quite \"scared and kanchiong\" because your child is not doing what other kids are doing...
My boys did not and do not \"do this or do that\", \"attend this and attend that\" and they have turned out fine.

You are so lucky, your boys turned out fine... I tend to get a little more kiasu about my DD's studies since joining this forum... have never bothered much in the past. -
Ok, got to go do my Mummy duties... Chat with you when I am back later in the evening.

I seriously think one WOULD go crazy if one were to apply everything that other parents are doing to their kids to ours, so my advice is that certain posts ought to be read with a pinch of salt on standby.Ya, if this site were to be shut down, we would do into depression... esp some of us. :rotflmao:

Yup that's true. Ultimately, all we want are happy kids with reasonable results, who enjoy their childhood... Education doesn't make a person, and also not all top scholars end up as high flyers who earn lots n lots of money..
I've seen people who graduate with normal degrees and slowly upgrade and are now very successful, staying in bungalows, driving luxury cars and very happy with life...
On the contrary, I've also seen Harvard grads who end up quite normal in life... (just my humble observation and opinion... in case someone else reads this and starts bombarding me..)...
