@zac-s-mum Maths/Science academic domain DSA have been thoroughly researched on XiaoHongShu since time immemorial…almost all the PRCs are sending their kids to PRC tuition centres such as Kangaroo and OneTarget for intensive boot camps.
These days, the hot topics on XiaoHongShu involves sharing gaming tactics on sports/arts DSA. The PRCs are especially focused on DSA ever since MOE shuttered the 40-year GEP program which in itself has also been gamed to death by the PRCs.

@floppy It’s an absolute pity that Kiasu Parents have became a ghost town these days. It used to be such a thriving forum up until the revamp. Likewise, I use XiaoHongShu nowadays to check out how the PRCs are gaming the academic and DSA domains.
GEP has been gamed to death by the PRCs and MOE has no choice but to scrap GEP after 40 years. From hereon, I highly suspect the PRCs will hyper-focus on DSA (academics/sports/arts) especially now that their GEP route into branded schools have been terminated.
It will be a matter of time before MOE also scraps DSA once it gets gamed to death by the PRCs in the years ahead.

Nope. In fact the non-citizens flock to use it to leverage an advantage over citizens since they cannot get priority over a citizen with equal PSLE score.

@jaystormrage A friend once showed me Kangaroo’s Math Olympiad chat group where the discussion was entirely in Mandarin & the qns the parents were asking were essentially How to do this (extremely difficult) qn etc etc. Whether this type of qn will come out in the GEP selection tests etc
