My son will be joining AHS mid-term. I would like to find out if the basketball team takes in absolute beginners with no basketball skills? Or is the team for competitive players only?

And for CCA, how many can he choose and if this can be changed in later years if he is no longer interested in the choosen CCA?

Welcome to the AHS family.
School doesn't encourage multiple cca as the commitment time is rather high. As for changing of cca, it's best to stick through your cca choice as your DS will be awarded points which can be used for JC /Poly entry. Not sure about basketball cca. Sorry can't help

Really appreciate your reply. I'm not very familiar with the system. Is there some place where i can get some information on what you mean \"awarded points\" for CCA. I've emailed the school about basketball but they have yet to get back to me. I've also asked the school administrator on any preparatory requirement. So i'm hoping to find out more information in the forum as well. It sounds that CCA is not a interest-based exploration?

Anyone with kids from anglican high.
I am considering it as one of the school for my daughter next year.
Any idea when is open house.
Can i also check if the school have a very strong chinese culture? My girl only does normal chinese. Her score usually 75-85 range. Will she be able to cope?
How are the teachers and students?
Any idea what is required for sports dsa?
