      Hi everyone,

My gal will be registering for p1 next yr. Horizon is my 1st choice since I’m within 1km & also heard that the school is good. Would like to know more about reviews of parents who have kids in this school. Can share with me ur feedback about the school? What’s the school hours like? Thks in advance!

Anyone knows the official top score for Horizon’s first batch of PSLE students? I heard that the no. of PSLE students for Horizon this year made up of many transfer students from elsewhere , not those that start from Pri 1 to Pri 6 in Horizon Pri kind. Am I right?

          hi mummy jessiey

you can check through this link: http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=65271

top score came from Raffles Girls 275
          268 Mee Toh School
          263 Edgefield Primary School
          255 Horizon Primary School

not a bad start for the kids.... keep it up, HORIZON!

and yes this yr P6 kids are from transfer. Same for those P5 (taking P6 next yr). The actual P6 will be in 2015 as the school started in 2010 for P1 onwards (http://www.moe.gov.sg/media/press/files/2009/06/p1-registration-exercise-annex-b.pdf)

            hi mummy Phoebe

good sch... really depends on word of mouth, but i hv no regrets to get my girls into this sch. teachers are nice, principal was previously from Eunos Primary, most of the times greeting at the sch gate almost every morning & helpful. VP Miss Anita is a fun & always smiling VP.

school starts at 7.45am. Mon & Wed end ard 3.30pm, Tues, Thurs & Fri end 1.30pm. So far the sch only provides Chinese Enrichment class on Fridays.

Thanks for the info! My boy next year is P2..so he will taking PSLE in 2018. Wonder then the nice P and VP will still be around. They usually will rotate every 5 or 6 yrs. I heard Mrs Ang (P) used to be the VP of Tao Nan Pri . No wonder Horizon Pri is up and coming !! 🙂

                Harlo,

My DD will be starting P1 in Jan 🙂 Its a milestone for our kid since they are starting P1. Hope she won't have a rude shock when the school term start. in any case, have heard great thing about the school. I have signed up for their PSG during orientation and hope to be able to contribute in the coming years and meet like minded parents.

                      hi mummy shirley,
guess yr kid enjoys school these 2 days... as far as i know, no test for the 1st wk or 1st mth, as both my gals attending Horizon now - one in P2 & one in P3. teachers are busying getting the kids to adjust back to sch life after such long holidays.

I think u are talking about an assessment review.. I understand this paper is set and request by MOE. This review is just for the teachers to have a feeling on the student standard, so don't put the stress on the children, let them enjoy the school time now.
