Need advice. Is it true that all upper primary level students are require to attend supplement lesson for every wed to fri? TIA

Hi, my child is in P5 this year n yes she is having her sup class since P4.
It mother tongue n the 3 subjects (math,sci,eng) on thurs n fri. Lesson is frm 2pm - 3.30pm. It compulsory I think n it taught by their own subject teachers. I find it very helpful.

May I check why are the school hours extended on wed and fri?
Is it for cca or supp classes？ I am thinking to enrol my dd for primary 1 soon.
I have just check with the transport company, as what I know there not school bus going from pasir Ris to horizon primary school this year but they are unsure next year. Any children coming from other areas than punggol? Hope to receive some advice and feedback here. Thanks!

Last yr there was balloting for parents staying within 1km. Parents were called if they stay beyond 1km to consider to apply other schools.
Open house is usually in mid july. Cost of student care per mth is $270.

Last yr there was balloting for parents staying within 1km. Parents were called if they stay beyond 1km to consider to apply other schools.
Open house is usually in mid july. Cost of student care per mth is $270.

Hi Mummyofthree, does it means that if i stay less than 1km then my chances will be higher? God bless me better got a place for my kiddo if not will be big headache. Oh gotta to keep a lookout for the open house in July. Thanks a lot for your advise on the student care fee.

Hi mummy...
yes I would say so... but do lookout at the results of every phase. The school intake had dropped 30 vacancies for last year. When I first signed up for Horizon, there were 330 vacancies in yr 2011 but last year down to 270 or 300 (sorry can't remember), as there were 2 new primary sch setup.

Hi Mummy, really thanks a lot for your advise. Hopefully the school intake will not drop further. If not i'm really gonna have a big headache.. Have seen MT gonna to have a open house but Horizon up to date still no update..haiz.. being a mum so tiring even kids gonna to P1..OMG
