Hi Janet,
I rem your ds was sick during psle, any help to appeal under this consideration ?
I rem reading somewhere on ksp that moe may take this into consideration.
U hv been a tireless mom and worked hard for your Dc.
Do not get disheartened by today result, boys generally mature later than girls.
We are behind you, pls write here if this help you sooth the pain for now.
And for only272, you are a disgrace be you a parent or child. U hv the choice to resit psle and get the 28x or 29x you need. This forum is not suitable for you cos you do not offer encouragement, support, and there is no constructive information from you.
Furious to see you rub salt in janet. Waste of our time commenting on your selfish act. -
Hi,
My son got 2A* & 2A and T score is 235. Based on my calculation, the T score should be around 245. Can some expert estimate the parameter to calculate this year T score?
Thank you -
I think Anglican is best choice

My son didn't do very well...we were caught off guard. He has 203. Need time to get over it. Seriously I don't know what happened, but can't ask him.
Dear janet_lee88, I couldn't sleep yesterday knowing you weren't sleeping.. I couldn't sleep feeling the anxiety you were feeling.. i couldn't sleep knowing that like you, i'm a mom too. Moms can feel these things.Throughout the year, you have poured out your soul to us.. shared your turbulent challenges about your family, about your son's operation, about how you chiong all your might, about how you almost emptied your investment so he could get the help he needs, how you showered all your love and care for him cooking his favourite meals, ensuring he stays well and healthy, about how you took time to observe that he doesn't burn out....... these, to me are things that moms can feel whether it is for our own children or for a friend's. You've been no less than a cheering squad for everyone in PSLE related threads understanding the struggles parents and children go through to prepare themselves for this national exam and you definitely deserve no less than a cheering squad to help you past this emotional phase. Because of the investment you've made.. money.. time.. efforts.. etc, there was a certain hope.. a certain expectation expected from your son.. so when it didn't materialize, you felt crushed.. and you felt defeated.. but you shouldn't. As a mom, you have been everything to him.. a pillar of strength.. a source of esteem.. a shoulder to lean on.. a friend to call upon.. a mom to love him with all you've got in you. You have battled him looking different from other children.. battled with your ILs.. battled with him being in school but barely learning much.. you have been at so many crossroads, but came out triumphant. Today is no different. Your son has battled many nights of endless homework, topped up with tuition, followed by long school days, not much of holidays, he poured his all and tried his all.. he put his all into this exam. Yes he did.. AND he came out triumphant once again, for despite the struggles he faced and despite the hard work he put in, he got into the express stream.. and that is his best. Celebrate his best. Celebrate his efforts.. all his hard work.. all the many months of toiling.. all the many months he has been a good son to you. Celebrate his strengths. Remember his little achievements can slowly grow to motivate him to achieve bigger ones... but only if you are there with him. For you are his strength. You are his source of comfort. Take comfort that there are many roads to success and that the meaning of success itself varies between people and we don't need to travel the same path that leads to it. Your son's success today is passing his PSLE (meaning he does not have to repeat P6).. his success is that he gets into express stream as well.. his success is because YOU.. were there for him when he needed you most.
In this next few days, do not look back. Do not look back in anger, disappointment or despair. But instead channel positive energy looking into a school that can offer him a good fit. One with an interesting CCA that he can thrive in (one he enjoys and can be great at).. one with values which indirectly says a lot about their teachers.. one with the vision that every child has potential and can maximize it under their wings and guidance.. one with dapper uniform is bonus.
But most importantly, the school that can offer him the best of the next 4yrs for PSLE is over and finally done with and thank goodness for that. Good riddance. :torchme:
Come 2013, your son gets to start on a clean slate. But for now, apart from the task of the secondary school selection... take time out to celebrate the mother and son bond you have shared the last months so closely together... and the little successes you two have achieved... together.
All my love.. :please:
