        don't understand this

no kindy has any affiliation to any primary school in SG, it by operation of the MOE policy

some people's kids do get into the seemingly \"affiliated\" primary school is not by kindy, but because they are member of the church group which entitles them as \"connected\" persons to the primary school

I'm answering to Greenbean question. She asked me whether I would consider putting ds In ACS, we are not presbyterian nor Methodist or Anglican, so we dun have any connection or affiliated to to the sch by religion, so we can only consider phase 2c for ACS. And also, we are not nearby the sch.

Of coz I know that no kindy has any affliation to sch lah...:celebrate:

            hi,

When I read this story about how this determined and plucky boy from Pasir Ris Secondary who brave all the odds, and who travels more than an hour across Malaysian JB causeway just to attend school EVERYDAY Monday – Friday, I think of our own SG pupils who are habitually late – because they were up the whole night on MSN …. chit chatting to friends.

He does this not one way, but to and fro, every day !

When everyone is still sleeping soundly in dream land in bed at dawn around 4.30 am, he is already up and awake …. pack up his school bag, get ready to go to school, all the way from JB.

Even if he wakes up on a morning showered with heavy rain thunderstorm and strong wind blowing, he still carries an umbrella and jostle with thousands of office workers, and pedestrians across the jammed JB causeway daily, just to reach school on time !

I truly admire / salute his spirit, coming from such a young boy !

it is really the mindset, attitude, fierce discipline, hardworking, sweaty determination, undogged perseverance, the hungering prowess to taste sweet success that …. propels / motivates this student to surge forward against all odds, and overcome difficult hurdles / obstacles placed in his path… that counts at the end of the day.
