      Hi,

does anyone know if the spa at bintan club med is always overcrowded and overbooked?

      any review on the spa?
I like it. If you are particular about the time, better book before hand if you can. If u are flexible, u shd be able to get a time slot.

        Hi,

can you rem how much it cost? their website nvr state any prices.

and also, do you find that they are too \"intrusive\" in terms of interactions?

I have done massage, scrub and pedicure there. No problem. Not sure what you mean by \"intrusive\", but normally my experience with spa at these expensive places are quite discrete. Have you experienced otherwise?

Hi I see. thanks for sharing.

I nvr been to any club meds but based on reviews on travel sites, they said that the GOs are very friendly and will asked to lunch or dinner together and be friendly and make small talk. I personally do not realy like tat so wondering if i should go to club med in the first place anot. being too friendly in my terms is abit intrusive..

Oh I see...that's what you mean :). I thot u mean spa is intrusive 🙂
Club Med GOs go all the way out to be friendly. It is the culture that they interact with guests. They have long tables where they will sit down to eat with u at meals. But if you prefer to be left alone, I suppose you can go for the specialty dining, or if u pick a small table for just you and your family. I don't call them intrusive, just trying to be friendly. But you can always choose to be on your own instead of taking part in their activities. The choice is yours. While club med is French, the friendly style is very American which is very in your face. But if you let them know that you prefer to be left alone, they respect that too.

I juz went to bintan club med in feb stayed 4d3n there. On the first day I very not used to the friendly GOs there but my 4yrs old gal love them to bits.

The spa there I felt it is quite cheap, I spent $150 doing full body scrub, yoghurt wrap, massage n flower bath for 2.5 hrs. Totally worth it.

Club Med Bintan is a haven for kids! A good holiday destination for families with young kids. They have a long program list of activities for you to choose from. The activities are entertaining and full of laughter. I didn’t regret visiting Club Med Bintan.

Going to Club Med Bintan soon. Wanna check with those who had been there if u had additional travel insurance for the trip. I understand that basic cover is included in the Club Med package.

If I arrive earlier than the check-in time, and depart later than the check-out time, can I participate in the activities and enjoy the facilities/food?

                        TIA
