Mummy Funx3 Reporting

afternoon sista Funx3...
u must be staying in the west rite?... and the training is in the east instead... :faint:
but u must so proud of ur DD... all this travelling makes it all sooooo worthwhile... :ugogirl: -
Wow :yikes: that's a whole lot of things that he's chewed!
Did you tell him \"NO\" when he chewed. I read Cesar Millan's book that we need to tell them a firm NO and then give something else that is chewable so that they know what can chew what cannot chew.
I had a hard time initially too. My dog stood there and refused to budge. I stood with her and felt so stressed! Was told that must make her walk home willingly etc. Then after 15 mins I lost patience. Carried her home! :rotflmao:
Wow I really admire your DD's stamina, perseverance and her love for the sport! :salute: :salute: and of course not forgetting this mummy here who has been as busy as her, being her chaperone. :salute: :salute: -

Me too gotta carry him home ....
and .... we go no further than our doorstep!
So Much for Exercise ....
My Gal has started to grumble on the time spent on the long travelling and training, and i just console her with her fav Mac Ice-cream Sundae / Cheese Burger - after almost every session
At least now she makes frens with fellow gymnasts, and tells me who \"Eat More Snake\" in secretly reducing the amt of repeatative abdominal / back stretching / crunching exercise they r tasked to do for 2 hr every day!
And Of Course the coach don't Know -la!
  -

Hi Funx3,
Your ddβs gym routine sounds punishing. Does she have to keep up the intensive when school starts? How do the girls manage once school starts? -

Yeah Training R Expected to be just as zealous during term time.Hi Funx3,
Your dd's gym routine sounds punishing. Does she have to keep up the intensive when school starts? How do the girls manage once school starts?
There R quite a number of RGS Gals in the Senior team. Happen to Speak to one of them a couple of weeks back when we R in Mac B4 Training starts.
She's been training at this pace for the last 3 to 4 years, and representing Spore in the Major Overseas Competitions. The latest one she be going to will be SEA Games in Palembang.
She Says the Gym Gals she knows R All Doing Above Average Academically. But Definitely not coupled with intensive tuition. Tuition is normally for one subj they R weak in only.
Will Monitor once sch term starts to see if my Gal can cope.
Like U Say, the Pace is Punishing ....

I'm impressed that with the intensive training the girls are performing above average. After all, most of the girls in RGS are among the cream of the crop and to perform above average amongst that cohort is very good. It must have something to do with the discipline of being a sports person.
Have you bought your dd's school uniform yet?
