How disappointing for Catholic High, SCGS and St Nick's. Only applicable to those starting Sec 1 in 2013 and to a new government JC. Not great to be a guinea pig in a new JC. I guess top students will still leave these schools for your more established IP schools.

Yes, I don't like the idea of that JC. I also don't see how they can \"marry\" SCGS with 2 established catholic schools. The background/history seems so different for the identity of the new school.

Only SJI win, lah! Bc they are independent, can hold their own year 5 & 6.

And of course MGS naturally go into ACS(I) which makes sense. But the grouping of CHS/SNGS with SCGS sounds v strange.

My thoughts too. The CHS, SNGS and SCGS team up is wierd. CHS and SNGS I can understand, as they're both Catholic. But SCGS? But then there are no Peranakan boys schools around. They prob didn't know what to do with SCGS so just lumped them together with CHS and SNGS.
CHS and SNGS both religious schools. Then merge with SCGS at JC level. Then will the JC be a school with religion?

        GOVERNMENT JC, mah.

but i was thinking .... SCGS is independent, pay S$300+/mth, then go jC, become v cheap fees. haha.

I can't believe Lee Hak Boon says \"we've finally hit on the right formula\".
Maybe he's happy CHS boys have SNGS and SCGS girls to go out with. hahah!

It'll probably be a secular school BUT will it be bilingual? Can you imagine SCGS girls in a bilingual environment?

            Cheap fees for sure!

They already said all the new 7 IP schools will run dual tracks. There will be O Level classes for sure.

I wonder if the new JC would be good
                    bc will have no history

sad - my ds2 miss by one year. Only apply to those p4 and below.

I tot it is applicable to those in P5 now? They take PSLE in 2011 and these IP schools start at 2012?
