Order from Dangdang

LNHQ:
Hi hquek
Is it the one where your credit card co sends you the one time pin via SMS? I use Amex and so far have not encountered this.hquek:
Can anyone advice what is this ? 获取短信校验码
I'm actually at the step 2 of Dang Dang ordering. How do I obtain these digits ?
Thanks
I'm not too sure too coz I put in my 手机号码 then after that I click on the submit in green, they keep asking me to enter the correct digit :?
Don't really know what went wrong as I did step by step ordering correctly.
Do you happen to know at which stage do we key in the credit card numbers ?
:thankyou:
Eh, I only remember that I select the order to pay for. Then, becos I select overseas credit card, I am directed to an external site. Select Amex (that the one I use), then fill in my name, card number and expiry date. Click submit. Finish.
Btw, if you are first timer, expect an email asking you to provide some part of your credit card number and name and I can't remember what info. This is legit, so send the email. They have tedious audit procedure before they can tally your payment.
This will go away if you buy from them enough. -
Erm I choose 网上支付 am I correct ? But I can’t click on the overseas credit card

Yes, I think for Peeka it is more worthwhile if you are ordering book set that they can compact into box for you. The last round I also got >18 thick books + 10 thinner ones, which they pack all into a box (just nice) to send to me. Overall also <$30 for handling and postage. More worthwhile than DD as I'm sure the 50% book price for delivery will work out to be more.
Seems like more worth to get \"small stone\" weight kind of things than \"balloon\" weight kind of things.hquek:
Just viewed the books. Not that many. Peeka goes by size, not weight. About size of moon cake box and smaller. There is one book that is thinner and size larger than he rest. This was quite crushed, I'm hoping time will erase the hurt.

Overall condition only 7.5. A couple of books had small tears on the spine. Should be dang dang. Btw, peeka did not remove the books from dangdang bag, just squeezed it into the nearest box. Never mind, I only want what is inside. Going to get started on my next 小豆豆

How's the customer service like? What are the domestic delivery charges from DD to Peeka?

Peeka will call ahead. Not sure how many times they will try delivering.
As for domestic, depends on what you order. For normal deliveries on purchases above RMB20, delivery is free, so just zero out the domestic shipping charges. -
Hi hquek…
