I ordered mine late Nov and order shipped out 2nd Dec. But it has not even reached Spore yet. Already informed dangdang and they just sent my request to China Post to track my parcel. I was told that China Post needs 3mths' timeframe to track my parcel:( I hope it will reach me eventually... -

I ordered mine on Nov 18 but the order took a long time for audit. It finally completed audit on Dec 2. I received my books yesterday. Must say that the packaging is really quite bad. The books were not wrapped and put directly in a box. There were lots of tapes round the box and the box was like almost falling apart when it reached me. In addition, maybe because it was raining yesterday, the box came a bit wet. 2 of the books had corners wet and the book at 1 end of the box was a bit dirty on the cover. I ordered the whole series of the ē¬ē«ę„č®° which is total 12 books. Some of the more experienced buyers on this thread has advised before not to buy too many books at 1 go due to the packaging. I wonder how dangdang send if it is just a few books.
I don't think you guys need to worry. The books will come, although may be a little late. After this first experience, I think I will continue to order from the website but maybe not so many books at 1 go.

You can check with your credit card statement of account. I got my refund by the next statement cycle when my first order could not go through. So far, Dangdang seems like quite a professional company. My books arrived and refund also no issue. However, must be prepared to be patient. At least they don't run away with our $$. -

It is still the same type of packaging. But since it is only a few books which are quite light, it is less likely for the box to tear. Most of the time, the box splits open because it cannot take the weight of the books. Or if you have a very big box with a lot of books, then the books knock against each other in the process of shipping and get damaged.
Sigh...no choice lah. This is the quality of the shipping company. In fact, I shipped with China Post before, and the same thing happened. dangdang.com used some other shipping company I think. -

ksme is right. You should get your refund by your next statement. Otherwise email dangdang and continue to chase them until you see your refund. -
But I do wonder why when an order goes out earlier, it does not reach Singapore before an order that was shipped out later. I wonder what's their process like..... :?

don't think too hard about it...I get brain cramps when I have to deal with them (eg audit take too long etc).
