Q14

row - A - B - C - D
1.----1......2.......3......4
2-----8......7.......6......5
3-----9.....10......11....12

in which column is 432 in
1. A
2. B
3. c
4. D
432 / 4 = 108, so it means the number is the last number in the 108th row.
108th row is an even row. Last number in the even row ends in Column A.
A* now not 91-100. Now paper so easy maybe 96-100 to get A*

But there is another group who finds it relatively more difficult so maybe T score remains for A* at 91? :xedfingers:

I guess for maths, practice is important so those who practice a lot would find it easier...

Yeah, just worked out the answer myself. Paper 1 #15 is 24 days. Sigh! My DD got it wrong.

Listing, although it will take longer, is a fool-proof method!

No, the ans is 26 days. this is a trick question.

DS say the same. 3 more to go, and :xedfingers: :xedfingers:

Basically the paper had easy questions...only reason why it should have been difficult for some is because of time constraints!

My Gal Says the Earlier Part Q are Harder ....
A Lot of students may spent too Long Looking at these earlier Q, so Not Much Time left to do the Later Q, Which She Says is Very Easy.

Notice that all the multiple of 8 is in A
It may be clearer if we work in groups of 8.
432/8 = 54 remainder 0. So 432 is the last number in a group of 8 i.e. D (oops! sorry last number is A. Thank you Pen88n for the correction.)
