I am so so so curious about my marks too that i want die liao ah!

Time running out.. .Left one file of science papers still haven't revise yet!! Oh No!! :slapshead:

my gal's teacher said that gai bian is not suitable lehh y like that oneCONFIRMED that answer is gai bian already cos I asked my school chinese teacher who had seen the chinese paper 2 the question liao!!!:)
Anyways, good luck to everyone tomorrow!!! Jiayou!!!:) -
Posted this on science thread but no answer. does anyone know the answer? desperate…no one answered yet.
Question:
Cutting down of trees will cause the phenomenon ‘global warming’. Which of the following are involved in global warming?
A: burning of trees causes the carbon in the tree to combine with oxygen in the air to form carbon dioxide.
B: Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere acts as a blanket to trap heat in the Earth.
Without trees, Sun heats up te Earth’s surface directly.
Soil erosion will destroy aquatic life forms, which in turn will enhance global warming subsequently.
(1) A and B only
(2) A, B and C only
(3) A, B and D only
(4) A, B, C and D
Answer is (4). My son doesn’t think C and D are involved in global warming. Is he correct or is he wrong. His answer is (1). -
Cockroach:
I still need this question is ambiguous and the teachers should highlight the ambiguity to MOE. Very difficult to rule out one answer over the other.....

For C, it is the same as B.Posted this on science thread but no answer. does anyone know the answer? desperate.....no one answered yet.

The will not be TREES to take in the CARBON DIOXIDE. Hence, there would be more CO2 on Earth, causing more CO2 to trap heat and warm the Earth, thus global warming.
I'm not too sure about D. But...
It could be that there isn't any aquatic life forms to disperse the seeds of the plants that require water dispersal. Hence, there would be overcrowding and competition of food causing there too be less plants. Hence, there would be less plants to take in carbon dioxide, making there more carbon dioxide on earth which traps more heat. This warms the Earth. -

Actually I can only explain option d u see cutting down trees will surely cause soil erosion will destroy aquatic life forms u see… When trees are cut down , there will be lesser trees taking in carbon dioxide which cause an increase in carbon dioxide warming up the environment which is global warming… As for option c , I am not too sure… -
