Intermezzo:
DD says paper was ok.. she had about 30 min left for checking..
For the Shadow question her answer is Circle, because the size of the steel ball is larger than the square cardboard (according to the diagram).. she also says the same thing as some others here : If you just draw lines on the diagram, you can see.
For the Photosynthesis question her answer is Lack of carbon dioxide. According to her, the plant is placed IN water, so there should not be a lack of water.
Plants do give out carbon dioxide during respiration, but the amount of CO2 they take in for Photosynthesis is much larger than what they emit during respiration.
just hope she's got the right answers ~
My DD put circle too...She gave the same explanation. -

But if you draw the lines to the screen, still can't see the circle coz the light is blocked by the square (circle is within the square). so it's square rite? unless i read the question wrongly.
Ds answer is circle..just' draw the lines'... Tts what he says.. :roll:vlim:
My DD says is a square....
How did you manage to see the question ? -

I wrote the fan switched off as there is a gap in the circuit and electricity cannot flow. -

Any explanation from the teacher ?
She said that co2 is replenished thru respiration, while the water can't be replenished, so water shuld be the correct ansMs tay:
