Hi! I'm a kid from P6, and I'm new here. My answer was that in a fish, the blood is pumped straight to the rest of the body from the respiratory organ (gills) but in a human, the blood is pumped back to the heart from the respiratory organ (lungs) before being pumped to the rest of the body. Hope I'm right!
P.S. Aiming for top PSLE Malay student here :xedfingers:
All the best. :xedfingers: How did you found the Malay paper 2?
Actually, it was quite easy. Just lost 2 marks :slapshead: . But I was expecting Science to be hard, after English, Math (grrr... lost 2 marks for carelessness only out of full marks :lightrod: ) and MT. Chose Q1 for MT Paper 1 (The special day one).

Actually, I thought the qn ask populations?Helping--Hand:
Hmm... For the pond community question I put (1). I was guessing that the butterflies are part of the pond community, together with other flying insects like damselfly, dragonfly etc. I also thought that frogs ate butterflies... do they?
I dont understand... why is it 6 organisms? I thought there is 8? Explain Please :thankyou:
Caterpillars and butterflies=1 population
tadpoles and frogs= 1 population
fishes=1 population
plants (don't know what types)= 3 populations
Total=6 populations
:)
I think i was too stressed... I was perplexed and wrote another question..... Booo Hoooo I really feel like crying out my lungs... :stompfeet: :siam: :siam: -

Congratulations to all P6 parents. It's finally over. You can drop the stones now for the time being till the results and the next hurdle of your children's life.
Not really, still need to indicate the school of preferences (if not just participate in S1 posting after release of results) in the Exercise School Preference Stage from 24 to 28 October 2011 prior to the release of 2011 PSLE results for those P6ians with COs/WLs.

Hi, what did your children write for the OE question about the water passing through the box of sand and into a glass, '' Person A says that the water was clean for drinking, do you agree? Why?\"
Hi,
I wrote: No. The water might contain harmful bacteria that cannot be seen through the naked eye. (not sure but something like that).
My ds wrote No, large objects like dirt might not be able to pass the sand particles but harmful microorganisms could be small enough to pass by the sand particles together with the water. -

Don't be too stress! Cool down. What is done cannot be undone. Don't think about it anymore! Relax and concentrate on your revision for HMT (if you have). If not, start playing!!

I wrote that microscopic impurities may not be trapped in the sand and may still be in the water.
