DD also starting with Energy.

      Hi Tinkerbelle

Ha Ha. Look like their school prefer to start with Energy. Heard from dd now the teacher is started revising some topcis like light, matter etc. Hopefully the teacher can cover more past topics before the CA1.

      Hi Brenda,

Good to hear that your DD's sch is starting on sci revision. DD's teacher will still trying to complete this term's topics. With CA1 just less than 1.5 weeks away, I'm praying for a miracle. πŸ™

        Hi James,

Thanks so much for pointing that out. The above was an example given by DD's FT. After reading through your explanations, I agree your answer is more comprehensive. Just curious, would this answer be acceptable too?

Living things need food to obtain energy to carry out life processes and do work?? Tks.

A rather \"kiasu\" way to answer but I think is ok, very factual and complete.

        Hi James,

Ha ha.....ya, I know, I know....I'm very KS. πŸ˜‰ Just want to ensure I'm not teaching DD the wrong concepts/keywords. Thanks for your insightful feedback. :celebrate:

          Hi Brenda,

Do you have any good chinese story book to recommend?thanks

          Hi Leanne,

Brenda and you are lucky that your kids read Chinese story books. My DD doesn't like Chinese books. :stupid: I've tried many ways to encourage her to read Chinese story books but to no avail. She only carries an English novel with her everywhere she goes.

For my DS's school, CA1 result not included in the report book. In fact the school refers to it as class test.

                  Hi tisha & moonflower,
Thanks. DD came back & told me CA1 results will not be included in the report book so I was a bit surprised. :? Her FT said the reason is because it's not a true indication of the student's overall performance as there will not be oral, compo for CA1. FT told the class to treat CA1 as a wake-up call. :snooze:
