Hm… I remember my son did Animal Farm in Sec 1 as well years back, so maybe no change. Incidentally, my younger boy also did Animal Farm in P5 GEP earlier this year, he did a full review of the book (not sure for fun or for syllabus though). How come keep doing that same book?

Both rejected from NYGH DSA.
As usual they are thinking about NYGH and RGS as top 2 choices with NJC as 3rd.
So correct order for them should be NYGH, RGS and NJC right ?
Since most likely they will get NJC anyway, really no harm to try for NYGH or RGS right ?

They can put NYGH and RGS as top two choices. Which one to put as first choice depends on which they prefer. They should definitely get into NJC in the odd event that they don't get into either NYGH or RGS. So no loss trying out the combination.

I m just tired of hearing him complaining of being bored. Only child so he wants me to play with him almost everyday. And I m going crazy with house packing (we just moved) n settling down aft my US trip. We will be out of Singapore again in dec .. So need to plan for e trip etc. but e him bugging me, I can't do much. Sigh!


Anyone has purchased RI uniforms?

DS case is like yours, but at least he still has a mei mei to bug. But he still wants me to play with him as he find mei mei too easy to be annoyed or give up. DS is interested in science, and the secondary school section is where he usually end up when we are in bookstores. I know school text are boring and I really don't want him to burn out. So I buy him science books that are written in the fun way, such as those from \"Dummies\" series.

Don't your boys play computer games, gameboy etc ?
My 2 boys can keep themselves occupied for the whole day.

Their dream Sch is NYGH? The one with 261+2 have chance for both NYGH and RGS if COP same as last year. The one with 259+3 is borderline case for NYGH and risky for RGS, may get NJC. Of course no harm putting the 2 top IPs as first and second choice for this girl. I remember the NJC DSA took in very few kids so corresponding S1 vacancies should be more.
